At this point, having retired from the vegan lifestyle, Rachel will eat pretty much anything non-vegan. It all tastes good to her. So the extra salt in the eggs goes unnoticed and she takes the time to add a little pepper and put jelly on her toast before she digs in.
"Not with formal training!" Give her like 10 minutes, she'll let it go eventually. But she knows you, Noah. Has known you since you were kids and even if working at a fast food joint is the best you can get right now she knows you're destined for more.
"Doesn't mean it was okay for me to call you that..." She slides off of the bar stool and it takes her twice as long as usual to pour herself some orange juice with one hand out of commission. Her back is still to him when he apologizes, and she shrugs. "You're right. But it's okay."
Hopping back up into her seat, she laughs, avoiding his eyes as her good hand pushes her food around on her plate. "I...suppose that's a compliment. I mean, Jeremy isn't-...it's alright. Really."
